What I learned today…estate sales.

michael taylor

I recently had a client who asked me to facilitate an estate sale in Nashville, TN.  After interviewing several people, I decided to meet with Michael Taylor.

Things I learned:

1.  I don’t have a clue about value of estates – furniture, chine etc.

2.  Contract with someone who knows the business inside out.

3.  Contract with someone whose fees (all of them) are disclosed up front.

Why should I have an estate sale?

– Liquidating things can be complicated, very detailed, and stressful

Should I go through and clean out “stuff” before your team arrives?

– Relax and let us take care of this tedious process for you.

How long does it take to conduct a sale?

– Sorting and setting up can usually be done in two weeks or less, depending upon the size of the estate. The actual sale takes two to four days.  House is cleaned after sale is finished!!!

Nashville TN – homes for sale – coming soon!
