Cheekwood – Nashville Art & Gardens

I visited Cheekwood last night to see the Bruce Munro light exhibit. This in only the second-ever North American exhibition of LIGHT, a stunning outdoor art installation by acclaimed British artist Bruce Munro. Using an inventive array of materials and hundreds of miles of glowing optic fiber, Munro will transformed Cheekwood’s beautiful gardens into an enchanting, dream-like landscape.

The outdoor art was incredibly beautiful. ”

“Water Towers” has 40 structures of over 10,000 water bottles filled with fiber optics and music.

Fireflies“, located in the Japanese Gardens was a burst of surprises among the bamboo.

Blue Moon” – my favorite!!

“Light Reservation” and “Field of Lights“- incredible beauty with many different colors – over 20,000 lights!

This exhibit is a must see while in Nashville.
